Wiggle returns to The Paramount…Wiggle steps up to the plate again for it’s next instalment on the 22nd October and being extremely privileged enough to be one of only two promoters allowed to put on parties at the Paramount, it would be rude not too! And if the response they’ve had at every party in this fabulous venue is anything to go by, then the majority of people do too!
As always to compliment the jaw dropping views 384 feet above London, Wiggle will be supplying only the very finest in disc jugglers and yet again bring you another smasher of a line up!
Simon Baker has played an influential part of the UK house and techno scene for the better part of the last decade. He is an artist that generates his own musical trail through a stand out style, which is purely his own and always current. Pioneering labels such as Cocoon and Playhouse have long since been pressing his tracks, and each of these has helped stamp his dextrous musical talent upon the far reaches of the globe. Simon Baker has cultivated his resolute DJ skills over the last 17 years, putting them into continual practice through constant demand for worldwide touring. He recently completed his third full North American tour including a debut at Space in Miami and summer 2010 saw him regularly at Kehakuma at Space in Ibiza and grace the stage at the huge Carl Cox And Friends event in Mallorca. Other highlights for the year included the Parklife Festival and The Warehouse Project in Manchester, a new residency at Liverpool’s cutting edge mUmU party and Air London showcases in Paris, Barcelona and Ibiza.
Alex’s music has a style which is energetic and intense, a tech house/techno sound full of swing, complex rhythms & deep basslines and a style which is aimed squarely at the dancefloor. Always keeping the quality levels high and choosing not to release music too frequently, the resulting demand has seen Alex continue his associations with Area Remote and Cecille, as well Tuning Spork, Freak n’ Chic, on Lauhaus’s Soweso label (as Steller). 2011 continues with new music coming on the much-esteemed Spanish label Barraca Music, the “Blue Vaudeville EP” on Cecille Numbers and first appearances on Moon Harbour (with remix of Martinez’s “Kamino”) and as a DJ, with his debut tours of South America and the United States plus a second appearance on the Ibiza Voice podcast series. This versatility and dedication to upholding values passed down stand him out as a talent that should burn bright for a generation.
James has been a staunch Wiggle supporter for years and can always been found amidst the madness of the dance floor shaking a leg or two. He’s been quickly making a name for himself with his weekly radio show on supreme dance and this Wiggle debut see’s him celebrate his birthday, so expect things to kick off right from the start!
