A night of Visionquest & The Nothing Special is quite the opposite…Visionquest are… Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson, Shaun Reeves and Lee Curtiss, the most innovative and exciting new breed of DJ/Producers to come out of the city of Detroit in a generation. Their remix of Kiki’s “Good Voodoo” on BPitch Control has gone down in history as one of the summer’s biggest underground hits and together they have released tracks on leading labels like Crosstown Rebels, Spectral Sound, Get Physical, Circus Company, Supplement Facts, Wolf+Lamb, Wagon Repair and Minus. They held their weekly ‘Soulshower’ residency at Club der Visonaere in Berlin and have both individually and collectively played regularly at clubs the world over.
They have undoubtably revolutionised a new wave of ‘sound’ that has stormed onto the scene, along with various other innovative artists and their Visionquest label is a testiment to that sound.
In their bid to overrun Room 1 at fabric, which they will most certainly do, Craig Richards will be shaking up Room 2 with his ‘The Nothing Special’, where he will be joined by Appleblim, Addison Groove [live] and Trevino. Craig is world renowned for his unique and uncompromising sound. An unpredictable, quirky, tripped-out mixture of tech-house, dubby techno, and abstract beats. As artist in residence at fabric he is largely responsible for the modern approach taken to the programming of Saturday nights. The strength and diversity of his residency continues to provide a musical identity for the club. His early morning sets are legendary, always challenging and never the same.
Craig Richards’ DJing soundtracks are Fabric’s Saturday nights every week. Blending dubby, breaky, house music with fragile, ever-funky techno, his sets have continually explored new and emerging genres. Have played the club week in week out, Craig knows how to work the vibe in fabric and exactly to what limits, if any, he can take things to.
And to make sure that the intimate Room 3 vibe is kept up to scratch, fabric resident Terry Francis will be taking the helm joined by Clockwork, who has been making waves on the scene, as well as Eric Volta.
