South American organic influence and old-school flavoured techniques…South American heroes Marcelo Rosselot and Francisco Allendes are back with a new Andes Music release, “Juan de la Verdad”. The previous release of Nuria Ghia still sounding hot and being supported and played by top DJs like Steve Lawler, Daniel Sanchez, Paco Osuna, Slam, Martin Eyerer and Robert Dietz among others… they now present a stunning new ep by themselves.
Marcelo Rosselot and Gustavo Ferrante present “Straight Up” an elaborate track pointing to the future of electronic sounds and beats mixing their usual organic influence, with old-school flavored production techniques sprinkled in. Multi-noted bass hits, high and fine hi-hats with Allendes’ subliminal voice are all of the elements that provide a hard to beat, new old-school touch. The duo introduce their organic influences, small percussive elements and effects that point to a South American inspired sound. The global scene has been paying attention, as Steve Lawler has recently signed it for a VIVA Music compilation to be released soon.
The second original track of the pack is the solid and jacking, “Juan de la Verdad”. The title track of the release, fills the air with lovely vocals from a mysterious girl who brings a high emotional presence to an energy filled masterpiece. Not one to disappoint, “Juan de la Verdad EP” represents the danceable and rhythmic quality that is Andes Music.
As for the remix of “Straight Up”, and closing out the pack, they count on their friend and fellow South American producer, Felipe Valenzuela. Felipe builds a remarkable track, playing with each and every percussive detail, as he knows best. The end result is an unstoppable groove darkening the drive and attitude that the original displays. With a solid kick, Felipe leaves behind his Housey clothes for a while to be immersed in a spacey Techno trip. The electrifying atmosphere is complete with new melodies all around, again completed with Allendes’ soft and sublime whisperings.
