Deep house and techno producer SLOK teams up with My Favorite Robot – aka James Teej, Jared Simms and Voytek Korab – with the Canadian trio providing vocals on his latest single, “Feel Alive”. A release on Alex Flatner’s Circle Music, this vocal house track is a deep summer groove with flutey keyboard melody and a nice, tough bassline grounding the vocals.

Subb-an does a darker remix keeping the vocal, plus that touch of evil you want on a late night dancefloor, while a collabo remix from CasinoCasino and Lopazz retools the bassline for a rougher drum beat and tougher kicks, reverb turned up. It’s down to the time of day whether you’ll feel more like the original track in this EP or its two remixes, or even Slok’s own vocal-free dub mix.
