Select*Elect presents Cafè Sturz – Jimpster, Foehn & Jerome

Select*Elect’s favourite flavour…

After a short summer break, Select*Elect return and seem very proud to bring to their London night, one of their favorite producers.
He has been producing, remixing and DJing for the last 19 years and successfully running his own label, Freerange. In recent years he has released his first original track for another label, choosing Ben Watt’s Buzzin’ Fly for “Square Up”, which went on to become a big underground house track of the year. Another deep house anthem which was nominated for numerous Best Dance Single Awards was his 12″ for Freerange, “Sleeper”, which sat at the top of the Beatport charts for a month.
Jimpster has also added his midas touch in the form of remixes to acts such as Josh Wink, Photon Inc, Osunlade, Bob Marley, Joris Voorn, Seal, Marc Romboy, Solomun and more. Over the past 5 or 6 years Jimpster has built up a reputation as a highly regarded DJ in the UK and around the world. He puts an emphasis on the deeper end of electronic house music, but not afraid to stray from the path, he retains an old school approach that has seen him booked for gigs as diverse as Fabric, Plastic People, Panarama Bar, Watergate, Cielo, Warehouse 702, Zoo Project, D-Edge and Fabrik.
He hasn’t played in London for a while so you can imagine the energy and excitement building at the Select*Elect HQ to have him rocking their dance floor.

To spice things up even more, Select*Elect are also bring to the console Foehn & Jerome, a duo from Berlin who are residents at the infamous Grelle Forelle in Vienna, where they run their Cafè Sturz night. As well as having the lovely Kasia warming up and delivering great deep sounds, and of course, their resident Pablo Ranacat who will grace the decks as usual.
