G-Sounds is our podcast series, which is designed to bring to you some exceptionally well crafted mixes from some some truly underground DJs. The idea is to bring those cool sounds resonating from the music scenes freshest and most remarkble DJs and Producers.
G-Sounds 20: Corbeau
With their wide range of influences, mainly from 90′s House, Garage and Deep House elements, all being infused into their music and their DJ sets. They seem to be truly harnessing the right ingredients for some real house vibes, mixing it up with the full deep flavours of modern day sounds, a few tablespoons of swinging house and garage groove and a slight sprinkling of funkiness. This is the recipe for a good serving of Corbeau. A dish that is becoming a staple diet in the Sheffield house scene.

He secured a Cream residency and what started out as producing music for his own sets, ending up falling into the hands of various DJs and being singed by industry giants such as Renaissance, Global Underground and John Digweed’s Bedrock. Releases that received a wide range of support including John Digweed, Yousef and Danny Tenaglia. And when it comes to clubs and festivals, Jemmy’s done some of the biggest; Cream, Ministry Of Sound, Amnesia, Sankey’s and Creamfields.

New Zealand born, Dilby lives and breathes house music. From a young age Dilby has been obsessed with hunting and collecting music and has always been passionate about sharing these treasures with others. Originally having no interest in music, Dreier took a short detour via Hip-Hop before landing comfortably into the world of Berlin Techno, at the well respect Highgrade label. He started recording music from the radio and performing his first experiments with a double cassette deck and could always find his Hip-Hop mix tapes circulating West Berlin, until he found himself in the legendary Bunker club experiencing infectious Techno.

Being at the forefront of underground deep and tech house she began establishing a name for herself playing at intimate clubs involved with Sydney’s intricate scene. It was during this time that Monika got involved in radio and landed a slot hosting and producing ‘Frequency’, FBI Radio’s Friday night electronic show.
