A renowned live performer…Saytek is London’s latest phenomenon in underground music with his extraordinary live performance blending techy beats, tribal percussion, Detroit soul and just making one fully grooving set. His innovative live acts have taken him to Ibiza for some truly memorable performances and over the coming month he’ll be aiming to recreate some very memorable moments in London at some interesting events.
Whilst reading on, it is highly recommended that you listen to Saytek’s latest mix for Pulse Radio right here, which is a prime example of what Saytek is all about.
First up is Saytek’s performance for a special event… Dance for Japan, where all profits will be going to the cause. Dance for Japan will be happening down at Cable, London, this Saturday (16 April) where the main room is going to be filled with deep underground grooves. Shane Watcha will be joining Saytek in the main room with a whole host of DJs joining into help support such a cause.
Next up will be the Eivissa Soul 1st Birthday Easter Special at The Russian Bar on Easter Sunday, where Saytek joins the Eivissa Soul residents Low & Murphy, Alex Maxwell, Ian Tucker, Ben Coates, Paolo Panella and Joshua J for what is going to be a off the hook.
For anyone who know nothing about Eivissa Soul, should know that this is a night organised by some truly dedicated organisers and DJs taking something from those memories of the hedonistic Ibiza parties and this infectious party vibe is attracting just the right attention to form the ideal clubbing night.

Ewer Street Car Park followed by Jaded…This Saturday sees the almighty Cocoon landing in London for a rave up at Ewer Street Car Park, where it has a night and a half on the cards. Cocoon has organised a Room 1, 8 hour back2back marathon of three of Romania’s finest, [a:rpia:r] founders Raresh, Pedro (Petre Inspirescu) and Rhadoo, for whom minimal goes epic with a techno meets house vibe that is energetic and boost all the qualities of a pure Cocoon sound. Ilario Alicante and Markus Fix will be providing the Room 2 antics with their slick style blending the finest of tech-house and techno, things are going to be swinging.
But Cocoon doesn’t plan on finishing up their, as Jaded will be providing the official Cocoon Afterparty shenanigans with a Cocoon special guest confirmed to join Raymundo Rodriguez and Chris Stanford in commanding the main room down at Cable. While the balcony room will be given a run for its money with appearances from Mouj, Teva, Rufus and London key player Ceri. You could pretty much sum up this Jaded afterparty as a morning of London’s rawest form of the underground’s finest becoming prolific players on the scene. An afterparty taht will surely do Cocoon proud!

This weekend proves once again that the underground scene in London is still alive….
London sees yet another weekend of superb music and once again Londoners and visitors are spoilt for choice between, The Gallery, Cocoon, Global Underground, Nature or Nurture, Jaded and god knows how many low-key parties shaking up London Town. But we feel the main clubs which will be rocking the weekend are Ministry of Sound, Fabric and Cable and all very close to each other.
Ministry of Sound will be hosting The Gallery for a Friday night of Progressive House featuring Hernan Cattaneo & Danny Howells playing back to back for 4 hours, not to mention Henry Saiz and Guy J getting in on the action. While Saturday night leaves the way for Global Underground with Trafik and James Talk.
Fabric puts on a special night of Cocoon where Sven Vath, Onur Ozer, Matt Tolfrey, Ilario Alicante and resident Craig Richards will be joined by a few other guests. This is a night worth getting in on, which is where we will be!
But that’s not to say that Nature or Nurture won’t be rocking down at Cable with Terry Francis and Nathan Coles [Wiggle / Fabric] playing back to back. Followed by the Jaded “6th Birthday” bash kicking off at 5am in Cable.
And if you really need some good music to get you warmed up for the weekend, we can recommend this great mix by Benji which is just the right amount of deep moving tech house to get anyone in the mood for a good party!

Cocoon hits England for a double date weekend….
This weekend is surely going to be a storm for everyone involved in Cocoon’s visit to England, as well as for Liverpool’s Nation and London’s Fabric.
Cocoon will be making a double date tour this weekend, kicking on Friday at Nation, Circus presents the Cocoon night with a line-up of some of the industry’s most established DJs; Booka Shade, Guy Gerber, Raresh and Onur Ozer. Not to mention Circus top man Yousef and Cocoon legend Sven Väth.
With Circus’ involvement in hosting a Cocoon night with such a line-up, Liverpool’s Nation is going to be electric.
Moving on to Saturday night and Cocoon will be landing at Fabric and how are we pleased to see the legendary Sven Väth gracing Fabric once again. Here Sven will be joined in Room 1 by Turkish DJ Onur Özer, known to music lovers for his offering on the Green and Blue mix series last year, as well as London’s very own Matt Tolfrey, who are surely going to be shaking things up.
Room 2 will be just as momentous with Chile’s Dinky being joined by Italy’s Ilario Alicante and Marcus Fix, who has acclaimed releases on Cécille, Oslo and Cocoon.
And last but by no means least, the intimate Room 3 will be given a run through its paces with Craig Richards and Jozif rocking through the night.
If after this weekend of madness you still feel like you could do with some more, make sure you get yourself down to Cable, London Bridge, for Jaded’s 6th Birthday where you are sure to experience possibly the greatest after party in the Capital. Running Sunday morning from 5am till 2pm the renowned Raymundo Rodriguez will be joined by Bass Culture boss D’Julz, Circo Loco legend’s System of Survival, Rythmatic’s Stathis Lazarides and Wesley Razzy. As well as Tommi & Colette Delalez. A morning not to be missed!
You can guarantee that Guerilla Sounds will be at Fabric for Cocoon and we might even pop in to Jaded for a bit of after hours shenanigans!

Weekend 42 – 14, 15, 16, 17 Oct….
This week’s round up has grown massively since the previous issue of “Weekend Round Up”, showing off some very amazing night in some of the hot spots of the underground club scene over Europe.
A few weeks back we had published an article about a massive weekend in London and once again, the capital is going to be pumping. Friday night will be the starter of things to come with Krafty Kuts headlining a breaks night and Dan Ghenacia and friends partying away in Hewitt Street Car Park.
But it’s Saturday night which is going to kill you and not just for the long hours of partying or the massive line ups. More for the fact that you’ll be completely spoilt for choice as not only will fabric be celebrating its birthday with a massive night, which seems more like a marathon, but there are also the infamous nights; “Wiggle” and “Shake It!”. And that’s without mentioning that Ivan Smagghe and Derrick Carter will also be gracing the London with their presence.
In fact we would be interested to know which one of these nights would tickle your fancy more….

This Saturday sees the Wiggle crew stirring up a right old Wiggle party in the center of London. The venue, Paramount, Centre Point Tower will be put to the test as Wiggle crew are set to hold an immense party.

Wiggle being one of London’s most infamous underground nights, has been around for 16 years, party in numerous locations across the capital including fabric, as well as in Ibiza. And if such a night has managed to keep going for 16 years, it must be because its one of the best nights around.
A Wiggle Party isn’t complete without Nathan Coles, Terry Francis and Eddie Richards, and that’s exactly who will be playing on the night. Joining them will be Circoloco heavy weight and Peace Division member, Clive Henry and from Bigger Deer Recordings, Lewis Ryder.
Not only will the Wiggle party be running from 11pm – 8am, but they have also joined forces with the Jaded crew for and after party at Cable.

Showing London’s still got a bit of life in her since the crumble of the clubbing scene, with some great nights this weekend….
A number of years ago London was living on the uppers, with great clubs, great nights and wicked music. The last few years has seen a fair deal of of the downers. With the closing of The End, Turnmills, matter, The Cross, The Key, Cargo, AKA and numerous amounts of bars down the drain, London seems to be struggling to hold on to dear life in the underground scene.
But never fear as this weekend seems to be showing a different face with several massive nights kicking off (mainly just south of the river) at Fabric (obviously), Cable, Corsica Studios, Plastic People and Ewer Street Car Park. Showing that the underground scene isn’t completely dead in London!
