Ricardo Villalobos remixes for DFA

In a month of curious label-artist hook-ups (Squarepusher on Ed Banger, Brian Eno on Warp etc), here’s another – techno visionary Ricardo Villalobos remixing a track for James Murphy’s DFA Records.

It’s surprising for sure but sort of makes sense when you think about it – both like a bit of a tripped-out, psychedelic groove and both are pioneering names. He’s remixed Ndf (Bruno Pronsato and Sergio Giorgini)’s Since We Last Met, turning it into a lengthy, sprawling throbber with plenty of his wigged-out sounds therein. It’s out on August 30^th on 12” and digital.
