Over 3 hours of Christian Smith live mix recorded at Pacha in Buenos Aires o2 Oct….
Christian Smith has be kind enough to provide us with a 3hr 20min live recording of himself mixing at Pacha in Buenos Aires last weekend. The mix comprises of his usual House, Tech, Progressive, Techno styles and he wastes no time in lundging in to a cool groove to get things started.
Keep your ears open for a cool funky groover as the mix steps into the second half hour.
CBLS get down with some real smooth grooving underground house….
Compost Black Label Sessions have pubblished their mix session number 068, which kicks off with some real smooth, laidback house tracks. This mix is true late night pirate radio station material keeping things deep and spunky.
Live recording of Yousef rinsing it at Café d’Anvers in Antwerp on 24 Sep with up in the air, body grooving, booty shaking house music….
Yousef’s fine performance at Café d’Anvers has be pubblished on his soundcloud page, where you can experience a 1hr 43min mix of him absolutely rinsing the sh!t out the place. There are a couple of cut outs in the mix (maybe technical problems) but don’t let that put you off.
Yousef keeps up to standard with a fine selection of tunes and a great blend of up in the air, body grooving, booty shaking house music. It’s an absoulte stonker of a mix!
They have just released their latest radio show (podcast) presented by Aaron Ross, consisting of their usual take on house music.
Kicking off with one of the big Ibiza tunes of the summer, Round Table Knights’ blissed out “Coma Cat”, followed by dirty kinky house, classic string infused house vibes and plenty of vocals.
The selection of music coming out of Defected cross the boundaries between the typical house sounds, the more funky house styles and elements of new minimal and tech-house music. Obviously, being Defected, the genre is primarily house and funky but with these other elements included in the sounds, you can really feel a forward thinking mentality going on here.
For all you house and funky house heads, this is going to get you buzzing!
We thought this mix should be shared with you all….
It’s Nathan Coles’ Drifting Mix from August, which surely does drift. We are not so sure where yet as we are only half way through the mix as we write this, but it’s getting out bodies moving in our seats. It’s got something to do with the jittery vocals which are splattering away at our ears at this very moment, which go into a rolling sporadic delay before banging back into splattering mode again. Under laid with a very deep, subtle, organic, rolling bass line which carries not just the track but the whole room with its drift, very effortlessly.
We are loving how this mix is gliding through some great deep tech-house tracks with a very casual bounce to the beat.
We always knew Mr Coles was great at what he does, but this mix is very seamless, very emotive, and very fresh…..
