We Love… Space and We Love… Guestlist…

We Love invite two special collectives to host the main rooms at Space on 24 June. On the Terraza it’s renowned Leeds label 2020Vision with boss Ralph Lawson heading up proceedings. He is welcoming label-mates Crazy P Soundsystem and residents PBR Streetgang alongside Tensnake and Julio Bashmore for this house-led room. London party starters Chew The Fat! are bringing resident Foamo back to the Discoteca for his first of four shows this summer. Friend of the family Felix Da Housecat brings the main room noise while dOP get the party started with their unique live show of vocal-laden sophisti-house. The energy-charged breaks of A1 bassline and four-to-the-floor house of Jason Bye round up the main room lineups.

2012 is Futureboogie‘s 10th year in the land of the club. What originally started as a simple club night in good old Bristol town back in 2001, Futureboogie now rolls with global radio shows, a Booking Agency, Management Company, a list of A-grade parties and worldwide DJ bookings as long as a long armed man, excursions into festival programming and most recently their record label, Futureboogie Recordings.

Over the last 10 years the cast of the Futureboogie team has changed but original members and Futureboogie DJs Joe90 and El Harvo are still holding things down, keeping all the plates spinning, and making things go bump in the night. They host the exclusive 10 year anniversary bash in the capital alongside an array of the very best talent the label has to offer.

Recent Essential Mix spinning wise-beyond-his-years Bristol house producer and DJ Mag nominated breakthrough DJ of the year Julio Bashmore fronts an all-star cast, which also features Hot Creations tag-team of the moment Amos Nelson and Rich Beanland aka Waifs & Strays, alongside fellow Bristol house producing duo Christophe & Lukas and rising stars Behling & Simpson. Expect the very finest in house and disco all night long, in one of East London’s most exciting warehouses.
February also sees the release of Futureboogie Recordings CD compilation. Aptly titled “Ten”, it will include 10 exclusive tracks from some of the label’s finest, and a nod to some of the label’s future finest, with cuts from the likes of Eats Everything, Lukas, Julio Bashmore, Waifs & Strays, Type Sun, Christophe and Crackazat.

2020 Vision are back once again for another 12hr smash-up…

The last 12 months have seen the likes of Ralph Lawson, Steve Bug, Tensnake, Maya Jane Coles, Lindstrom, Ewan Pearson, Crazy P, Motor City Drum Ensemble, jozif, 2020Soundsystem, Mark E, Burnski, David August, Stimming, Julio Bashmore, Simon Baker, Julien Chaptal and more take centre stage at 2020Vision’s epic 12 hour shows.

The last bank holiday session (Read Review Here) was nothing short of legendary, with the label taking their 2020 Party brand across 2 of London’s most breathtaking art & events spaces over a combined period of 20 hours. The bar has well and truly been set and we can’t wait to do it all again on Saturday August 13th which just happens to be 2020 Vision’s 1st Birthday in London.

As always they’re providing Funktion1 Sound throughout, alongside 2020 VJs & full KSS lighting rigs, and as with all their Summer shows they’re starting extra early to make full use of the summer sun and Village Underground’s glorious skylit features. For this extra special show they’ve invited an array of talent that is sure to have both house and disco heads alike licking their lips with anticipation.

As ever, make sure you purchase your tickets early to avoid dissapointment as they are likely to sell out in advance, perhaps even earlier than normal this time with it being the 1st Birthday Show.

Weekend 42 – 14, 15, 16, 17 Oct….

This week’s round up has grown massively since the previous issue of “Weekend Round Up”, showing off some very amazing night in some of the hot spots of the underground club scene over Europe.

A few weeks back we had published an article about a massive weekend in London and once again, the capital is going to be pumping. Friday night will be the starter of things to come with Krafty Kuts headlining a breaks night and Dan Ghenacia and friends partying away in Hewitt Street Car Park.
But it’s Saturday night which is going to kill you and not just for the long hours of partying or the massive line ups. More for the fact that you’ll be completely spoilt for choice as not only will fabric be celebrating its birthday with a massive night, which seems more like a marathon, but there are also the infamous nights; “Wiggle” and “Shake It!”. And that’s without mentioning that Ivan Smagghe and Derrick Carter will also be gracing the London with their presence.
