Salva Stigler is the newest Italian addition to Indepth’s roster, releasing a burst of deep groove…Salva Stigler’s “Living the Night EP” is the third release out on the recently launched Indepth MusicRec and a release that offer much in the way of deep smooth grooving music. “Miami Bats” is first up on the EP and introduces a cool smooth paced piece of groove precision with a sprinkling of swing for good measure. Its bouncy bass is matched by fine rhythmic percussion, which make up a substantial amount of groove and vibe on the track, finished off by some vocal cuts and creative effects.
“Freaky Lime” is a deep techy number fuelled by a predominant beat and a deep bass, which hums its way through nicely, whilst dark and light vocals are engineered throughout the track with some simple and effective FX. The synth work in this deep little groover is what excels the track as the synth sounds flutters relentlessly with its hypnotic power. This track as potential!
Next up, comes the laidback back strolling natured funk piece, “Nube Du Vulcan”. A track that is masterfully engineered with rhythm that runs perfectly with its deep strong bass, seeming almost sinister. “The Selph Remix” however, adds an uplifting twist to the track, which makes full use of some piano variation sounding synth work, along with a swing beat, not to mention the great build ups woven into the track. A true summer tune!
Salva Stigler’s “Living The Night EP” isn’t one of those that is necessarily going to stand out on the centre stage and be recognised by all, but it is definitely provides the music that would be a stable diet in most DJ’s sets, music that is sure to get people moving to the beat.
“Living The Night” is due for release 07 July 2011.
