GS Select combines deep vibes with techno movers…

Our “Top Ten 10″ in this edition of the GS Select mix combines some very forward thinking music from some very talented artists. A mix that incorporates elements of deep house, tech house and techno, starting with a laidback abstract opener by Keinzweiter layered up with the outstanding vocal introduction of Shaun J Wright’s “Forever More”. Passing through the strange inner workings of “Forever More” and Kinrade’s “After I Was Twenty2″, we are introduced to a the deep mystifying “Freaky Lime” by Salva Stigler.
From here on things start to pick up the pace as in comes that deep swinging stomper “Mastertape Remix” of Shaun J Wright’s “Forever More”, a track that is guaranteed to get anyone moving, especially when neatly followed by the equally swinging vibe of the“Sonal Remix” of Kinrade’s “After I Was Twenty2″.
In order to make this more interesting, the GS mix moves into the diverse techno sound of Terence Fixmer‘s, “The Night” and the rinsing analogical electronic sound of Wolfram’s “Recession Session”, before floating back down with the equally electronic yet blissful “Deetron Remix” of Butler & Kendig’s “And I’m (So In Love With You)”. Finally finishing of with the beautiful laidback summer vibe of Salva Stigler’s “Nube Du Vulcan (The Selph Remix)”.

Hopefully this mix reflects the fact that there are plenty of underground artists and labels out there who aren‘t necessarily hitting the headlines, but are releasing some amazingly nice music. Music that doesn’t have to be “jump up, hands in the air” in order to stand out.
