Fresh off the back of their final album release, Layo & Bushwacka! announce details of their end of year party, with techno-titan Dubfire and Catalonian producer Uner joining them at The Egg on 29 December for a 14 hour event. In Room 2 Leading Astray present Agent!, LO, Elek-Fun, and Jan & Kudaku.
The new residency at The Egg has gone from strength to strength in 2012, and to cap off the year this final event, with its top-drawer guests, is set to bring plenty of Christmas cheer.
Dubfire really needs no introduction having established himself as one of techno’s leading proponents with his brand of jet-black polished chrome techno. Releases such as “Roadkill”, “Ribcage” and “Diablo” have cemented his name within the underground elite, and his label SCI+TEC has provided a platform for many upcoming talents to flourish.
Layo & Bushwacka are also set to release a fantastic remix package of the album track “Can’t Hurt You”. Guti, Russ Yallop, and Just Be are all on hand with their signature sounds, and these, plus forthcoming remixes of album tracks will no doubt be on rotation at The Egg.
So make sure you get yourself down to Kings Cross to see Layo & Bushwacka! and guests deliver the perfect soundtrack to shift the Boxing Day blues.

Now Carlo Lio is stepping to the plates for his own spin at reworking SCI+TEC past and present glory for this eclectic house and techno label. At the same time, he’s also launching his next EP on SCI+TEC, with other summer releases including an EP for Carl Cox’s INTEC, and remixes for SOMA, BANG BANG, MB Elektronics, and Lio’s own Rawthentic.
