For Rhythmatic’s final instalment of 2012 they are going all out, bringing in two very special guests from the infamous Perlon label, Thomas Melchior and Fumiya Tanaka. Berlin based Perlon, run by Zip and Markus Nikolai, hosts the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Baby Ford, Luciano, James Dean Brown and Margaret Dygas.
Thomas Melchior is no doubt one of the key artists to come out on the label and he remains a legendary name in the industry and will be for years to come. From Germany to the US, Spain and finally the UK, Melchior has always championed underground sounds and his music has without a doubt shaped tastes and creativity of many artists on both sides of the Atlantic and beyond.
Never the one to follow trends, he has stayed true to his eclectic music taste, forming part of many projects such as Ohm, Vulva/Yoni and Lady Miss Kiers’ and releasing under various monikers on labels such as Aphex Twin’s Rephlex, Playhouse, Perlon and his own label Aspect. Nowadays, Melchior continues to surprise the audience worldwide with his genre bending sounds and cutting edge performances.
With a musical career spanning over 15 years, Fumiya Tanaka is renowned as a true artist of his genre. Tanaka’s performances and productions have gone from strength to strength, earning him respect of industry professionals and techno lovers worldwide. Recently the artist has been working on the live unit, Dartriix with Radiq aka Yoshihiro Hanno and has already released two EPs and a full length album on Op.disc as well as numerous Perlon releases. Nowadays Tanaka is about to start a new label called Sundance and it is scheduled to be launched very soon. Look out for some fresh tunes and all time underground classics in his technical yet soulful sets which take minimal techno to a new level.
On the same night, Rhythmatic will also be celebrating the birthdays of their very own residents Archie Hamilton and Wesley Razzy.
Head of vinyl label Moscow Records and Rhythmatic Resident, Archie Hamilton is a London based DJ, A&R and producer, having released on Fear of Flying, District Raw, Lowpitch, High Strings and Moscow Records.

Rumour has it that last year’s final party with Fabio Giannelli was a sell out and this one is set to be no different! Perlon is renowned for the sound quality as well as breath-taking performances and Rhythmatic stays true to its artistic versatility yet undeniable quality of performances coupled with a warm and friendly yet underground atmosphere. The two bring together all the elements necessary to create an unforgettable night.

Cocoon hits England for a double date weekend….
This weekend is surely going to be a storm for everyone involved in Cocoon’s visit to England, as well as for Liverpool’s Nation and London’s Fabric.
Cocoon will be making a double date tour this weekend, kicking on Friday at Nation, Circus presents the Cocoon night with a line-up of some of the industry’s most established DJs; Booka Shade, Guy Gerber, Raresh and Onur Ozer. Not to mention Circus top man Yousef and Cocoon legend Sven Väth.
With Circus’ involvement in hosting a Cocoon night with such a line-up, Liverpool’s Nation is going to be electric.
Moving on to Saturday night and Cocoon will be landing at Fabric and how are we pleased to see the legendary Sven Väth gracing Fabric once again. Here Sven will be joined in Room 1 by Turkish DJ Onur Özer, known to music lovers for his offering on the Green and Blue mix series last year, as well as London’s very own Matt Tolfrey, who are surely going to be shaking things up.
Room 2 will be just as momentous with Chile’s Dinky being joined by Italy’s Ilario Alicante and Marcus Fix, who has acclaimed releases on Cécille, Oslo and Cocoon.
And last but by no means least, the intimate Room 3 will be given a run through its paces with Craig Richards and Jozif rocking through the night.
If after this weekend of madness you still feel like you could do with some more, make sure you get yourself down to Cable, London Bridge, for Jaded’s 6th Birthday where you are sure to experience possibly the greatest after party in the Capital. Running Sunday morning from 5am till 2pm the renowned Raymundo Rodriguez will be joined by Bass Culture boss D’Julz, Circo Loco legend’s System of Survival, Rythmatic’s Stathis Lazarides and Wesley Razzy. As well as Tommi & Colette Delalez. A morning not to be missed!
